Product Description
Mastercut (2-Speed) Professional Dog Clipper
Award winning brand Mastercut launches it first professional dog clipper, taking on major rivals Andis, Oster and Wahl. This compact ‘corded’ machine features two speeds, designed for bulk hair removal and precision clipping tasks. The maximum cutting speed has been carefully tuned to work with regular carbon steel blades, avoiding the expense of switching to more costly ceramics. This model is aimed at novice and experienced groomers alike – looking to buy their first professional clipper or an affordable backup. If you’re thinking of switching brands, the Mastercut clipper is fully compatible with rival accessories. Having said that, Mastercut offers it’s own award winning range of blades and attachments, including ‘super-wide’ options, for more efficient clipping times.
Features & Benefits:
Ergonomics have played a big part in the design of the Mastercut clipper. The contoured housing features a soft, smooth and tactile veneer, which looks great and, makes it comfortable to hold even with prolonged use. The girth of the clipper has been purposely streamlined to cater for smaller hands, whilst weight and balance have been carefully aligned to improve handling and, prevent fatigue.
Two different speeds allow you to quickly adapt to changes in coat texture and density. We recommend using the higher speed to remove bulk and create the basic shape or pattern. The slower blade speed is best for precision cutting and trimming, emitting less noise and vibration, which will help settle anxious dogs. In conclusion, the Mastercut dog clipper is a highly capable and versatile machine, with an extensive range of optional attachments and accessories.

Does it need servicing?
Like most electrical appliances, occasional maintenance and servicing are essential to keep the product in good working order. Whilst some tasks will demand the experience and skills of a technician, others are quite safe for owners to attempt themselves. If the clipper is in frequent, daily use, we highly recommend having it serviced every 12-18 months. Between these times, owners should monitor the condition of wearable parts and, replace these as and when required. Finally and, most importantly, avoid wrapping the power cable around the clipper to store it. This can cause electrical faults and may permanently damage the cord.
